An annual summit involving young people from South Korea and countries belonging to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations(ASEAN) will be held virtually this week.

Under the theme "Inclusion and Integration for the ASEAN-Korea Community," South Korea's Ministry of Gender Equality and Family is set to host the 2021 ASEAN-Korea Youth Summit for four days starting Tuesday.

The forum, which is a part of the two sides' exchange and cooperation, is expected to bring together 100 youth from ten countries to seek ways to resolve COVID-19-led conflict and socioeconomic gaps.

The participants will also address the issues of carbon neutrality, non-contact society, coexistence and inclusion among social classes and gender sensitivity.
