The nation is likely to see more rain on Tuesday and Wednesday, with heavy rain of up to 250 millimeters forecast for Chungcheong Province. 

The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) said Tuesday that more than 200 millimeters of rain is expected through Wednesday in parts of southern Gyeonggi and southern Gangwon provinces and northern parts of North Gyeongsang Province. 

The greater Seoul area, northern Gangwon, North Jeolla and North Gyeongsang provinces are forecast to see 50 to 150 millimeters. 

The weather agency said that heavy downpours of 50 to 70 millimeters per hour are expected for Chungcheong, southern Gyeonggi and southern Gangwon provinces between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning.  

The rain is expected to let up on Wednesday afternoon in the capital region, western Gangwon and South Chungcheong provinces.
