The Foreign Ministry has announced that 19 more South Korean nationals have been evacuated from Haiti after rebels overran half of the country.
A ministry official said that the Korean nationals were flown to neighboring Dominican Republic on Thursday aboard a chartered flight offered by the South Korean Embassy in the country.
Earlier on Monday, seven South Korean women and children had fled the civil war-torn Caribbean nation.
