South Korean President Moon Jae-in and K-pop sensation BTS are set to be featured on U.S. broadcaster ABC's programs, following exclusive interviews held on Tuesday, local time.
The conversations, hosted by ABC News anchor Juju Chang, took place a day after Moon and BTS addressed the UN General Assembly's Sustainable Development Goals(SDG) Moment event.
President Moon was reportedly asked about his goals in attending this year's gathering of the world body, cooperation in the pandemic fight and the Korean Peninsula peace process.
The interview is said to have also discussed the roles of BTS, who attended the SDG Moment event as youth representatives and a special presidential envoy for future generations and culture.
The interview will reportedly be edited into a three-minute clip for air across the United States on ABC'S "Good Morning America" on Friday, and a longer, 15-minute version to be aired on "Nightline."
