A collaboration single titled "My Universe" by K-pop group BTS and British rock band Coldplay has debuted at No. 3 on the British Official Singles Chart Top 100.
The Official Charts unveiled the latest rankings on its website on Friday.
BTS' previous hits "Dynamite" and "Butter" also landed at No. 3 on the singles chart.
The website said "My Universe," released on September 24, is the week's biggest seller across both digital downloads and CDs, notching up 27-thousand sales over the last seven days.
The charts said that of that total, 21-thousand-400 are digital downloads, marking the biggest single week of downloads for a song this year.
The top two songs this week are Ed Sheeran's "Shivers" and "Cold Heart" by Elton John and Dua Lipa. "My Universe" stands out as Korean lyrics take up a good portion of the song.
The collaboration was proposed by BTS, but Coldplay is known to have suggested the inclusion of Korean lyrics which were written by BTS members RM, Suga and J-Hope.
It's the first time in four and a half years that Coldplay has landed a song within the top 3 of the singles chart, since 2017 track "Something Just Like This."
