Korean-American Appointed Director of WHO

A Korean American has been appointed to head the HIV/AIDS division of the World Health Organization.

WHO Director-General Lee Jong-wook appointed Jim Kim to the top post last Friday after former Director Paulo Teixeira resigned, citing personal and health reasons.
