A survey finds a large majority of experts on unification have positively rated the second round of six-way nuclear talks held in Beijing last month.
In the survey of one hundred-80 unification experts, 70 percent of respondents said that the Beijing talks have produced positive results.
Fifty-eight percent said they favored multilateral dialogue through six-way talks as a way to resolve the nuclear impasse with North Korea.
Fifty-six percent answered they prefer the so-called simultaneous action in which the U.S. would offer a written security guarantee in return for the North's abandonment of its nuclear weapons program in a complete, irreversible and verifiable manner.
The survey was recently conducted by the Advisory Council on Democratic and Peaceful Unification, which advises the president on unification affairs.
