Senior officials of public broadcasters of South Korea, Japan and China are meeting in Seoul for a workshop aimed at promoting cooperation in the public broadcasting sector.

The Korean Broadcasting System is hosting the workshop ... the first since the president of the state-run broadcasting company proposed such a seminar in Beijing last September.

In addition to KBS, the workshop is being attended by Japan's public service broadcaster, NHK, and CCTV and State Administration of Radio, Film and Television of China.

During the three-day seminar, participants will discuss ways to enhance broadcasting cooperation and exchanges, and joint productions.
