South Korea and Kuwait will hold working-level talks in Seoul to discuss a mutual investment guarantee treaty.

The Foreign Ministry said Saturday the two-day talks will focus on the legal status of investors from each other's nation, dispute settlement, and issues involved in making remittance - topics they had failed to agree on during previous discussions.

South Korea and Kuwait established diplomatic ties in 1979. Since then, Kuwait has invested some 38 million dollars in South Korea, while South Korea invested more than three million dollars in the Middle Eastern nation.
