North Korea says its leader Kim Jong-il met with visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing Wednesday.
The official Korean Central News Agency in Pyongyang says Li and his delegation conveyed to Kim greetings and gifts from Chinese President Hu Jintao, for which Kim expressed appreciation.
Li arrived in Pyongyang Tuesday and met his North Korean counterpart Paek Nam-sun to discuss matters of mutual concern, including the six-party nuclear talks.
Li is scheduled to return home on Thursday.
