Chinese FM: N. Korea Agreed to Push Forward Nuke Talks

China's Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing says his trip to North Korea has yielded an agreement from the North to "push forward" toward a third round of six-way nuclear talks.
Upon returning home Thursday after a three-day visit in the North, Li told reporters at a Beijing airport that he spoke with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il for one-and-a-half hours in what he termed a "very happy atmosphere."
Li said he and Kim exchanged views on the six-party talks and agreed to work together to "push forward" the process of the negotiations, using dialogue to peacefully settle the issue.
But he did not provide any other details of the discussions.
Earlier in the day, China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan had declared Li's visit "very successful."
