China's Foreign Ministry says the parties of the six-way nuclear discussions have agreed on a document drawn up by Beijing which states the basic principles in forming a working group to prepare for another round of nuclear talks.

A Foreign Ministry spokesman told reporters Tuesday that China had earlier presented to the other five parties of the nuclear talks the document to which the parties consented.

The spokesman was quick to add, however, that differences of opinion remain among the participants of the nuclear discussions over the method of proceeding with the talks.
