A survey finds one out of three South Korean conglomerates plans to recruit overseas Master of Business Administration (MBA) holders this year.

According to the survey of 91 large companies conducted by on-line recruiting company Job Korea, 29.7 percent said they plan to employ overseas MBA holders.

The companies said they plan to hire MBA holders in the areas of strategic planning, financial affairs, business planning, technical consulting and risk management.

Some 65 percent of those surveyed said, however, that they have no plans to recruit overseas MBA holders this year. Many of the respondents said they have never hired MBA holders in the past.
