The Ministry of Construction and Transportation has launched an anti-terrorism task force in an effort to prevent terrorist threats in the wake of the worsening security situation in Iraq.

Concerned that dynamite at construction sites could be used in terrorist attacks, the ministry has also requested that police and their subsidiaries carefully control the use of explosives.

Ministry officials also earlier held a meeting with officials of Korea National Railroad and Incheon International Airport and sought ways to counter any possible terrorist attacks.
