First Batch of Fertilizer to N. Korea to be Delivered Tues.

Seoul will send its first batch of some 200,000 tons of fertilizer to impoverished North Korea from Tuesday at the earliest.

A government official said Sunday that the delivery, organized by the South Korean Red Cross, is expected to be completed in two months. The official said that a total of 27 batches of fertilizer will be sent to the North through the communist country
