The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) rose 16-point-23 points, or zero-point-67 percent, on Friday, closing the week at two-thousand-451-point-50.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining five-point-30 points, or zero-point-66 percent, to close at 803-point-62. 

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened three won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-299-point-one won.
