More than one million tickets have been sold for South Korea's new bullet train service since it began on April 1st.

Railroad officials said the country's high-speed railway, KTX, had topped the one-million mark faster than bullet train services had in Europe and Japan.

On Wednesday, a 70-year-old Seoul citizen received flowers and ten free KTX tickets for becoming the lucky one millionth passenger.
