The selection committee for the APEC host city is to make a final decision on the venue of the annual Asia-Pacific economic forum at its fourth meeting Tuesday.

The capital city of Seoul, the southeastern port city of Busan and the southern resort island of Jeju are competing to host the annual event.

Last month, the committee was briefed on the three cities' bidding plans and outcomes of on-site inspections of the three prospective venues.
