A traditional royal banquet of the Joseon Dynasty will be reenacted in Paris, France this winter.

The Institute of Korean Traditional Culture plans to revive "Jinpoongjeong," a royal banquet that King Injo hosted in honor of Queen Dowager Inmok-taebi, at the Paris branch of UNESCO in December.

The institute also plans to introduce pansori, a Korean traditional art that combines singing and storytelling, and jongmyojeryeak, Joseon Dynasty court music traditionally played at Jongmyo, where the memorial tables of the Joseon Dynasty's kings and queens are enshrined.

The two traditional art forms have been designated by UNESCO as world cultural assets.
