The two Koreas and Russia are set to sit down together in Moscow next week to discuss a proposed connection of the Trans-Korean and the Trans-Siberian Railways.

The Ministry of Construction and Transportation said Saturday that the government will send officials from the construction, foreign and unification ministries, as well as railway-related experts, to the two-day negotiations set to begin on Wednesday.

A ministry official said the three parties will discuss ways to promote cooperation and studies on the linking of the two railways.
