Exports fell more than ten percent on-year in the first 20 days of November.

According to tentative data from the Korea Customs Service on Monday, the country’s outbound shipments stood at 33-point-two billion U.S. dollars in the cited period, down 16-point-seven percent from a year earlier.

Average daily exports, though, dropped more mildly by eleven-point-three percent with the number of working days decreasing by a day from last year to 15-point-five.

Imports also declined five-point-five percent on-year to 37-point-six billion dollars in the cited period, resulting in a trade deficit of four-point-42 billion dollars during the first 20 days of November, smaller than the shortfall of four-point-93 billion dollars logged a year earlier.
