The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) fell 26-point-16 points, or one-point-08 percent, on Tuesday, closing the day at two-thousand-393-point-16.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, losing 13-point-88 points, or one-point-89 percent, to close at 719-point-44.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened 26-point-two won against the dollar, ending the day at one-thousand-318-point-eight won.
