S. Korea to Send Additional Aid to N. Korea By Air on Fri.

In the first inter-Korean cargo flight, South Korea will deliver relief supplies worth 470,000 U.S. dollars to North Korea on Friday to help the communist nation cope with last week's devastating train explosion.
Meanwhile, the North's official KCNA news agency said a South Korean ship loaded with one million dollars worth of instant noodles, blankets and bottled water arrived in the North's western port of Nampo on Thursday.
That relief aid shipment is expected to be transported to the blast site by Friday.
South Korea is to deliver its additional 25 million-dollar relief package in separate shipments. Total relief aid from Seoul would thus come to 26 million dollars, nearly four times the combined 6.6 million dollars in aid provided or pledged by the rest of the world.
