The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained 20-point-99 points, or zero-point-89 percent, on Friday, to close the week at two-thousand-386-point-09.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose by one point, or zero-point-14 percent, to end the day at 711-point-82.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened four-point-five won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-241-point-three won.
