North Korea will open its first on-line shopping mall.

The Unification Ministry, quoting the May issue of a Tokyo-based pro-North Korean organization's monthly magazine, said an affiliate of the North's Korean Computer Center has established an e-business network to begin operation.

The magazine said the North is ready to launch its first ever e-commerce through the on-line shopping mall. But the report did not say when the shopping mall would begin service.
