Korean compatriots in the United States will send 3.5 million dollars worth of medical supplies to North Korea.

The relief materials were donated by American pharmaceutical companies to Korean-American associations to help victims of last month's train blast in Ryongchon.

An official representing the 20 Korean-American associations said that they would receive the donations at a ceremony in Virginia Monday and ship them out from the port of Baltimore to the North next month.
