The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell one-point-81 points, or zero-point-08 percent, on Thursday, to close the day at two-thousand-377-point-91.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ, however, rose, gaining zero-point-81 points, or zero-point-10 percent, to close at 781-point-98.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened nine-point-three won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-313 won.
