The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) jumped 17-point-78 points, or zero-point-75 percent, on Friday, to close the week at two-thousand-395-point-69.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 15-point-41 points, or one-point-97 percent, to close at 797-point-39.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened ten-point-eight won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-302-point-two won.
