In Beijing, the Foreign Ministry says discussions are underway to arrange a possible visit by Chinese President Hu Jintao to South Korea.

In a regular briefing Thursday, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said the two countries are in contact to discuss Hu's possible visit to Seoul. The ministry also expressed its congratulations to President Roh Moo-hyun for returning to his official duties after two months of suspension from office.
