Seoul Says to Discuss US Forces Redeployment Next Month

South Korea's Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon says the government will be holding talks next month with Washington on the planned redeployment of U.S. forces in Korea to Iraq.
Ban made the comments while appearing in a KBS television talk-show on Saturday.
He said a 9th round of Korea-U.S. alliance policy initiative talks would focus on the deployment of U.S. troops overseas in line with Washington's Global Defense Posture Review (GPR) program and its effect on the combined defense posture in South Korea.
