The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) added eight-point-60 points, or zero-point-33 percent, on Tuesday, to close the day at two-thousand-637-point-95.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining eleven-point-05 points, or one-point-25 percent, to close at 896-point-81.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened 16-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-271-point-four won.
