Business sentiment remained flat in June amid lingering economic uncertainties.

According to the Bank of Korea on Thursday, the business survey index(BSI) for all industries posted 76 for June, unchanged from the previous month.

A reading below 100 means pessimists outnumber optimists.

The BSI for manufacturers also remained flat at 73 amid a delayed recovery in the chip industry, while the index for non-manufacturing sectors dropped by one point on-month to 77.

Meanwhile, local firms' business outlook for July dropped by one point on-month, coming in at 75.
