One-day sight-seeing trips to North Korea's Mount Geumgang may begin in mid-June at the earliest.
Unification Minister Jeong Se-hyun said in a regular briefing Thursday that Hyundai Asan is making detailed preparations for the launch of pilot tours to Mount Geumgang beginning June 15th.
The minister said Hyundai Asan will consult with the Defense and other relevant ministries before finalizing the timeframe for the launch of the overland tour and detailed tour schedules.
