The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) lost six-point-01 points, or zero-point-24 percent, on Monday, to close the day at two-thousand-520-point-70.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, contracting six-point-92 points, or zero-point-eight percent, to close at 860-point-35.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-five won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-306-point-five won.
