The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell eight-point-01 points, or zero-point-31 percent, on Thursday, to close the day at two-thousand-600-point-23.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ meanwhile rose, gaining seven-point-88 points, or zero-point-85 percent, to close at 931-point-six.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened four-point-three won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-269-point-nine won.
