The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) fell two-point-59 points, or zero-point-one percent, on Friday, to close the week at two-thousand-602-point-80.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also dropped, losing one-point-89 points, or zero-point-21 percent, to close at 918-point-43.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened ten-point-seven won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-309-point-eight won.
