Inter-Korean Economic Talks to Open in Pyongyang Wednesday

South and North Korea will hold the ninth round of an inter-Korean economic cooperation promotion committee meeting for four days in Pyongyang beginning Wednesday.
At the talks, the two Koreas will discuss three major joint economic projects including the re-linking of cross border railways and roads, the construction of the Gaesong Industrial Complex and a tour program to the North's scenic resort of Mount Geumgang.
The two Koreas will also review ongoing joint projects as well as seek measures to realize the projects without any possible setbacks.
The South Korean delegation, led by Deputy Finance Minister Kim Kwang-lim, will leave for Pyongyang Wednesday morning on a Korean Air flight via the Chinese city of Shenyang.
