The Governor of Russia's Primorskiy Territory, Sergey Mikhailovich Darkin, will arrive in South Korea Wednesday for a four-day visit.

The Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that Darkin will meet Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon Thursday to discuss ways to promote cooperation between South Korea and the far eastern region of Russia.

The two met last month when Ban visited Vladivostok, the capital of Primorskiy.

During his stay in Korea, the governor will also visit local fishery, shipbuilding and oil refinery companies to discuss investment in the Russian territory.
