President Roh Moo-hyun has expressed his condolences on the death of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan.

In a telegram sent Sunday to U.S. President George W. Bush and former first lady, Nancy Reagan, Roh said the South Korean people will forever remember the achievements and efforts Reagan made to help maintain stability and peace on the Korean Peninsula.

Presidential spokesman Yoon Tai-young said Seoul will make decisions on how to organize South Korea's delegation to the funeral service after hearing the announcement of Reagan's funeral committee.

The 40th president of the United States died Saturday at the age of 93 after a decade-long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
