The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained two-point-one points, or zero-point-09 percent, on Wednesday to close the day at two-thousand-465-point-07.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining 13-point-two points, or one-point-59 percent, to close at 841-point-02.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened zero-point-eight won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-349-point-three won.
