S. Korea, China, Japan Study Ways to Regularize Trilateral Summit Talks

Senior foreign ministry officials of South Korea, China and Japan have met in Japan's Kanagawa Prefecture to seek ways to realize annual trilateral summit talks between their nations.

Director General Yabunaka Mitoji of the Japanese Foreign Ministry's Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau told reporters Tuesday that the three countries agreed to seek ways to regularize trilateral summit meetings, which first kicked off in 2002.

The three countries also agreed to hold their first regular trilateral foreign ministers
