A first working-level military meeting between the two Koreas will be held Thursday in North Korea's border town of Gaesong.

The Defense Ministry said Wednesday that the meeting is aimed at discussing concrete follow-up measures to implement agreements reached at the recent second round of inter-Korean general-level talks earlier this month.

On June 3rd, the two Koreas agreed to take steps to avoid accidental naval clashes along the western sea border and halt airing propaganda broadcasts along the land-locked demilitarized zone.

At the landmark talks, the two Koreas also agreed to use a standard, shared radio frequency for their patrol boats and exchange information on their respective crackdowns on illegal fishing by Chinese vessels in the Yellow Sea.
