In Beijing, China has expressed its flexibility on the timeframe of the third round of six-party nuclear talks.

Asked if China is pushing to open the six-way talks within this month, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said Thursday that Beijing is maintaining flexibility on setting the date for the discussions.

South Korea said earlier this week the six-party talks would be held in Beijing for three days starting on June 23rd.
