East Timorese President Arrives in S. Korea

East Timorese President Xanana Gusmao has arrived in Seoul for an unofficial visit.
Gusmao is leading a 20-member soccer team to attend a peace festival organized by Suncheon City, some 410 kilometers south of Seoul.
The two-day festival includes a friendly soccer match between an East Timorese squad and the Chosun University team, in which the 56-year-old president will play goalie for his side.
No formal meetings with government officials are scheduled during Gusmao's stay in Korea.
