The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained 134-point-03 points, or five-point-66 percent, on Monday, to close the day at two-thousand-502-point-37.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also jumped, climbing 57-point-40 points, or seven-point-34 percent, to close at 839-point-45.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened 25-point-one won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-297-point-three won.
