Local Film 'Untold Scandal' Wins 3 Awards at SIFF

A South Korean film, "Untold Scandal", has been honored with three awards at the Shanghai International Film Festival, which closed Sunday.

The movie, based on the French novel "Dangerous Liaisons," and directed by Lee Jae-yong, won awards for best director, music, and visual and sound effects.

The film set in the 18th century Joseon Dynasty revolves around a talented playboy attempting to seduce a widow who has been defending her chastity for nine years.
