Religious and civic group officials from the two Koreas have kicked off celebrations to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the June 15th South-North Joint Declaration.

Some 100 North Koreans and 26 pro-Pyongyang ethnic Koreans from Japan and China are participating in the event in the South's port city of Incheon. More than 12,000 South Korean religious and civic group officials are attending the celebrations.

Following the opening ceremony Tuesday, participants will attend a variety of cultural performances, including a joint South-North arts performance, during the four-day event.
