Senior officials from South Korea, the United States and Japan met in Washington to coordinate their strategies ahead of a third round of six-way nuclear talks.

U.S. State Department spokesman Richard Boucher told reporters the next round of nuclear talks would take place next Wednesday and that China is consulting with North Korea to confirm that timing.
