Several legislators from the two Koreas and the United States are scheduled to meet in a forum in Washington next month.
Representative Chang Young-dal of the ruling Uri Party told reporters Monday that a trilateral forum on establishing peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula will be held on July 20th.
The forum is being organized by the Korea Society, a non-profit group based in New York that holds conferences on Korean political and business affairs as well as cultural issues.
Around five to six lawmakers from South Korea will be attending the meeting, while the United States will be represented by 11 legislators from both houses of Congress. North Korea has yet to confirm the number of its participants.
