Thousands of South and North Koreans marched and sang together in the western port city of Incheon to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the June 2000 inter-Korean summit.
At a rally held at Munhak Stadium Tuesday, some 3,500 delegates from South and North Korea issued a joint statement calling for unity, reconciliation and unification of the two Koreas.
Before the opening of the rally, participants marched to the stadium waving flags depicting the unified blue Korean Peninsula against the white background.
Also on hand at the event were ethnic Koreans living in the United States, Japan and other countries.
The celebrations also featured a variety of sporting events and congratulatory art performances.
